Eurostar - please help!

Booked a return journey from London to Paris on the Eurostar for the end of this week.

I’ve just been told by a friend who’s also taking the Eurostar then (not on the same journey) that some trains have been cancelled.

I haven’t had an email or anything, but when I checked on the Eurostar website, I can see they’ve cancelled my outward journey from London to Paris.

My friend was able to re-book her cancelled journey with no issues, but I can’t(!!!)

When I click to choose a new outward journey from London to Paris on the website (where I bought my original ticket), it’s telling me to pay 200 euros.

I’ve tried to phone Eurostar but their office doesn’t open until 8 and I’ll need to be at work then. I’ve also tried the live chat but it’s not available at the moment even though it says it opens at 7am.

Does anyone know how I can exchange my ticket for the cancelled train for free?

Please help!!!

Are you sure it's your journey cancelled? Eurostar are pretty good at sorting you out so they may just be sorting those with nearer bookings first

I'm sure, Bugsy. It says my train at X time on Thursday has been cancelled.

I’ve had them cancel trains and been able to rebook my ticket with no problems, their customer service is normally really good. They probably haven’t sent the emails out yet, I would wait until lunchtime and if you haven’t had an email by then, try to find 5 minutes to ring up.

I’ve just had a live chat with customer service and they’ve said I need to phone them to cancel it because I booked a package deal (train and accommodation). Finally makes sense! :)

Ah good, hope you manage to get it sorted!
