Yes, I know already many of you will be saying it is fine and they are just children, and strangely enough so was I but here goes. Neighbours across the street have their houses elevated compared to the other side (the joy of living on a hill) however the neighbours on the elevated side have children who just kick a football as hard as possible at the retaining garden wall. The sound then hits us (neighbours across the road) with a force that you 'feel' the sound.
Trying to sleep is impossible (shift work) ,it feels as if someone is hitting our own property with a sledge hammer. The local council don't give a care, the children are going into other peoples gardens trampling plants, the ball hits cars with some force and to makes even more annoying, just a 30 second walk away is a park where they could kick the ball and not be making the racket they are.
Even politely talking doesn't seem to help.
