It's not worth popping off about

SimoneStrasser · 18/02/2019 14:00

It’s just an old fashioned verb, don’t see anything wrong with it so yes you’re unreasonable.

Aprilshowersarecomingsoon · 18/02/2019 14:03

Off you pop cunty chops is very acceptable imo.

Jamiefraserskilt · 18/02/2019 16:43

Is a pop longer or shorter than a nip or a bob?

redexpat · 18/02/2019 16:46

It must be wonderful if english is your second language. Cant remember a verb? Replace it with pop!

I think you might enjoy a poem called ‘Busy Day’ by Michael Rosen.

Didn’t that muddy the waters with Louise Woodward’s case? She told the cops she popped the kid on the sofa, and in the US to “pop” someone means to strike “He said my mom was fat, so I popped him in the mouth”.

Round here they don't pop. they bob. I'd much prefer them to pop.

RiverTam · 18/02/2019 17:56

Can't bear it. Just pop the baby in a sling! Fuck off.

Celebelly · 18/02/2019 17:57

I pop from time to time. I never bob.
