To feel like I'm going to be pregnant forever...

I'm 35+2 and I genuinely feel like I'm going to be pregnant forever! I can't see the end even though rationally I know it's coming 😂

Pregnancy has spanned 3 seasons, 4 if baby makes it to due date. I've left my job, been on holiday, renovated 4 rooms in the house and lost a close relative all while being bloody pregnant!

I'm not complaining (that much), I know I'm super lucky but seriously, when will it end?? I miss my body and I miss passion fruit martinis 🍸

Anybody else feeling similar? Anything you can't wait to do when you're not pregnant anymore? Am I just moaning for the sake of moaning?

At the time it feels like youve been pregnant forever, then once the baby arrives the memory quickly fades! Those last few weeks drag the most! I would suggest getting a post baby box of stuff you are looking forward too - like the martinis but also now having a pre baby treats of things that will be difficult when the baby arrives. Those would include

Sleep +++
Swimming
Cinema
Going out for dinner
Reading a book
Catching up with friends on the phone or in person
Going for a pedicure/haircut

Good luck!! X

I think that's quite normal with ds 1 I was pregnant for 41 weeks and 42 for ds2 it does eventually end I promise you😁

Oh yes. Hit 34 weeks and it felt like it was just never going to end! Maternity leave was worse for me. I couldn't put shoes/socks on without wrestling my own body and everything was doing my head in. Rolling over, getting up off the sofa (although I lived on my birthing ball as it was easier) knickers rolling down my bump, wearing only a select few items, as nothing else fit. It's such a magical time Grin

I'm 38 + 3 and cannot ever imagine not being huge, or actually having a baby. I can't even remember what it feels like to be able to roll over in bed easily, or to be able to walk for more than 5 mins without agonising back ache. I'm pretty sure this is my life now. Will I ever have cheek definition again? Will I have fat ankles forever?
