ITV Drama, Sheridan Smith shit-show

Spoiler alert!! Did anyone actually like it?! I have just endured the final (I hope) instalment of Cleaning Up. It was laughable but I just had to watch it to see how the feckless 'heroine' would fare.

Well, am I wrong about how they made their money at the end? They bought high, 6k into £16.00 shares, then they sold when the business went bust and the share-price plummeted to £1-something, and they made 16k. I'm no financial genius but even I know that is the wrong bleedin way round!

How can a show be made with such ridiculous and stupid errors? Do they think we're too dumb to notice?

@StellaMorris I was about to say exactly the same about Con O'Neill - love him as Val in Uncle, in fact love all of the Uncle series and cast especially the finale.

Her multiple accents accent made me cringe too hard to concentrate. Could they not have hired a cockney actress?

Of course it's not realistic, but it's just a fund drama of the kind you expect from ITV.

The 50K her ex moved out of the kids accounts to some account only he had access to..

Since the baddies (Swanny et al) had nicked that money and gone to prison, they couldn't do anything to get it back.. I suspect someone will try in the next series!

Plenty of scope for a second series.

I watched the first episode ... then cancelled my series link.

It annoyed me that my eldest piped up "dad found a way to afford my Uni fees" (no he didn't) and then said "Beth wants to get married" you have no say in it then. He's a twat if the highest order!

I enjoyed it.... light hearted silly fun

Ditched after watching the first episode. Sounds as though it was the right decision!
