...what would it be?
DH has said he'll treat us to a takeaway tonight for valentines when the kids are in bed.
I haven't had one in ages and need some inspiration please!

Chinese takeaway with duck pancakes, lemon chicken, salt and pepper squid, chilli beef and egg fried rice

Meralia · 14/02/2019 15:33

Definitely Indian. Onion bhaji, chicken tikka, mushroom rice and a peshwari naan. Actually I think I might have that tonight, we have a clingy 20 month old so no chance of going out for dinner.

Deeedeeee · 14/02/2019 15:34

really hot Thai curry, with prawns

MsHopey · 14/02/2019 15:34

Chinese 🤤
Sweet and sour chicken balls.
Sweet and sour ribs.
Prawn crackers.
Egg fried rice.
Sweet chilli beef.

Gestational diabetes is putting a stop to all the above ☹

LemonBreeland · 14/02/2019 15:35

I would have a chicken kebab or a pizza.

FiveNightsAtMummys · 14/02/2019 15:35

We're having pizza

OneBiscuitAtATime · 14/02/2019 15:35

Thai something. No idea what, the nearest Thai restaurant is many many miles from our deprived town.

CripsSandwiches · 14/02/2019 15:36

Sounds like a very romantic valentines night! (Not being sarcastic that sounds amazing!). I'd go for an indian. Mixed tandoori starter, popodums, peshwari naan, sag aloo, and chicken tikka masala (or jalfrezi) YUM!

Houseonahill · 14/02/2019 15:36

Mine would be dominoes with one of those chocolate pizzas for pudding 😌

LGFuad · 14/02/2019 15:36

Our best local takeaway is a Thai so we would go there. Chicken satay followed by chicken fried rice and a beef massaman curry. We are sorted for this evening but it is our wedding anniversary in a few weeks so I might have to persuade my husband that is what we need! Mmmm.

Nottobesoldseparately · 14/02/2019 15:36

I'd have pizza from the amazing little pizza place near us.
It would involve collection, but I'd send DH for a pint first whilst I had wine at home.

If it had to be a delivery, Chinese, as it's DH's favourite and he doesn't get it often as I prefer Indian.

ShartGoblin · 14/02/2019 15:37

Always Indian for me but that's because our local is incredible. I'm talking so good we made sure they delivered to our house before we bought it Grin

If you can't decide, go for lucky dip and pick whatever has a 5 star rating on Just Eat!

halfwitpicker · 14/02/2019 15:40

Poppodums and chutneys
Chicken dupoaza
Garlic naan
Veg curry aide
Pilau rice

I got dominos one year which was great but it was back when they had the melt in the middle chocolate puds that I absolutely loved, they’ve stopped doing them now Sad.

I’m cooking Indian.

Sausagefingers9 · 14/02/2019 15:44

Chinese for sure.

Or if I could find someone to deliver a huge bowl of ramen I’d have that.
