Shopping for some new bedroom furniture and I've seen a few things on there that are really nice and aren't too expensive. I've never used them, nor has any of my friends so I'm wondering if they're a legit company (decent products, not going to rip me off or take ages to deliver, that sort of thing.)

Has anyone used the, for good or bad?

Thanks!

(This is the bed, BTW: www.wayfair.co.uk/furniture/pdp/home-haus-plymouth-bed-frame-heme7743.html?piid=15864366)

I’ve had a few things like bed and rug from there. No issues at all.

Got a couple of side tables from them a few weeks ago.. pretty sure they came next day or two days after ordering, was kept updated with delivery time as well. Would definitely order from them again!

HedgePlastic · 14/02/2019 16:45

Yes, they're good

BirthdayCakes · 14/02/2019 16:46

DH bought a bedside table - nice design but it was basically made of balsa wood.. its just a bit flimsy and shite

TheFlis12345 · 14/02/2019 16:51

Products good but delivery terrible. They delivered our bedside tables on wrong day and then just left them on the front step in a fairly busy London street, because my husband didn’t get to the door fast enough (we live in an upstairs flat and he was on crutches!). Husband had to hobble down 5 flights of stairs and drag them in from the street.

We bought a massive pendant light for our dining room from there, and the bulbs. All came 2 days later, tracked delivery and we're really chuffed with the light.... it's very different to things we'd seen elsewhere. I'd happily use them again.

LuxuryWoman2018 · 14/02/2019 16:54

I’ve ordered lots and as a Previous poster says they are basically a drop shipping company. I’ve not had problems at all.

toach · 14/02/2019 16:56

I was about to buy an armchair from them, decided to have a last quick look around and got it cheaper from another site.

Asta19 · 14/02/2019 16:57

I think you will get a mixed bag of reviews as the items on there are a mixed bag! Some great quality stuff and some shite! I will never buy anything on there where the specific item hasn't been reviewed by at least 1 or 2 people. Then you have more of an idea.

They are legit but not sure I could recommend them as such. I ordered a bookcase for £55 and when it arrived, some parts were chipped and bashed. I used their site to report it, using a very easy form to state what parts I required and upload photos. They emailed the next day to say they've were sending out a whole new bookcase....it arrived and it had faulty parts too!! I used another form to request a refund which was given in less than half hour. And we got to keep both bookcases. We've put one together and used a bit of glue and paint to cover the faults so I suppose that's a win. We would have preferred a decent product; I don't know how they manage to keep running as a business!

theliverpoolone · 14/02/2019 16:58

I was going to order a food mixer from them last week, which seemed a real bargain, but read some bad reviews of some of their products/delivery, and decided against it. Have now bought a much more expensive one elsewhere, but if I'd seen this thread beforehand I might have given them a go.

fleshmarketclose · 14/02/2019 16:59

I bought a table from Wayfair, lovely quality and a good price. Delivery I wouldn't recommend, it came three days before it was due without any notice. I wasn't home so they left it outside a neighbour's over the road who wasn't in either Confused Couldn't quite work out their reasoning tbh. Thankfully neighbour told me as there was no card left but had it gone two doors down it would never have been seen again.

Pigflewpast · 14/02/2019 17:03

I can’t get past their advert with Lorraine in her “friends” house, asking her where her stuff is from and then saying “but what if I want fancy stuff?” So basically saying the friends stuff is shit!

NannyRed · 14/02/2019 17:04

I recommend them, Ive ordered some bedroom furniture for my granddaughter and it is really nice and good quality (no weak bottom in the little dressing table drawers I ordered) also had lots of new light fittings. Super fast delivery on everything I’ve ever ordered. (Always arrived sooner than promised)

Cwtches123 · 14/02/2019 17:05

Had an issue with a vanity unit that came with a broken basin, first replacement was also broken. The customer service was excellent and I would be happy to use them again.

LightAsTheBreeze · 14/02/2019 17:06

They delivered my garden arch ok last week, a lot sooner than expected, they sent tracking and I emailed to say I wasn’t in that day and they sent it the next day as I advised, and they gave me a 2 hour delivery slot.

mimibunz · 14/02/2019 17:07

I’ve bought a cushion and a lamp. Both were low quality so won’t bother with them again.

LightAsTheBreeze · 14/02/2019 17:13

The garden arch I bought was a known make so I got plenty of reviews from other sites including Amazon it was just that Wayfair was cheapest so I can’t really comment on quality.

There is a theme running through this thread that whatever day they say they will deliver when you order, it will be a completely different one that you actually get it delivered
