I’ve been holed up at home with a bad foot for several days now. A friend dropped by for a cup of tea and despite my protests offered to do a spot of shopping for me.
I needed milk, bread, soup and cereal. Gave her a £20 note as it was all I had in cash.
She came back with all of the above items plus a bottle of wine and, randomly, a china mug. Gave me £2 back in change!
I said “oh good, I could do with a drop of wine. What’s the mug for?”.
She replied with “ Oh that’s for my morning coffee. Mine broke and this was on sale so got it.”
I was a bit 
as, looking at the receipt, the food bits came to less than a fiver, wine was £8 and the mug was £4. Didnt mind about the wine as we were going to share the bottle but AIBU to think that she’s a CF for buying a mug?!
BTW, just to clarify that this is a lighthearted thread as she’s a good mate and I didn’t really mind. Even though she’s a cheeky git!
