Has anyone had a course of micro needling? What difference did it make to your skin?

I've been having one a month for 3 months now. I do it because I have old skin! (I'm 55) and really pronounced open pores. I've found it really good, my skin is smoother and the open pores not so pronounced.

You need to have a course of about 6, just one on its own will do nothing. It works on the principle that by slightly damaging the skin the body will produce more collagen to repair the area. Please make sure the beautician is qualified and offers you a free consultation.

Hope that helps.

i do this my self daily using a roller

i use a very small needle one day then a bit bigger the next then back to the small one

it doesnt draw blood as a professional job would,in the beginning it did hurt but not so much now,i then use bio oil or a facial bar from lush

i also get a professional micro-dermabrasion every 6-8 weeks

i also do weekly facials and hair care(deep conditioners/oil)

i take very good care of my skin,i dont and never have smoked/drunk/ taken any drugs
i drink a lot of water/milk, cook from scratch, so dont eat many take aways(i only eat fish and chips anyway) and i have been told i dont look 38(just)people are always shocked when i say my age as they thing im early 30s
