They weren’t paying attention for longer than the ‘brief moment’ they were asleep?
Reported in BBC news. Apparently trust in the judiciary hasn’t been at all affected?

Given the advanced age of senior judges, the fact they will hear highly technical information at that level (and likely not very interesting) in all day hearings in hot stuffy court rooms, I’m surprised falling asleep for a second or two is so rare as to be noteworthy.
