Could this be related to ultrasound?

I had an internal ultrasound last week.

Since about a day and a half later I have been having quite severe pain on my kidney area and I'm fairly sure I have a kidney infection (have a Drs appointment tomorrow).

All I can find on Google is that ultrasounds can possibly increase a risk of a UTI but this doesn't feel like that. It's definitely in my kidney area and there is no pain when I wee etc...

Don’t know about the ultra sound. But I had back pain once, so much that I collapsed and was sent to hospital via ambulance. It turned out to be a severe UTI, I had no pain when weeing etc.

Thanks. DP wants me to go to a walk in tonight as I've been unable to walk around for most of the weekend. I couldn't manage taking the dog out today its very painful on both sides of my lower back.

I think I'm better just waiting to see my GP tomorrow though.
