So many posts asking advice that surely you're equipped as a mother, father, daughter, etc, etc, etc, etc.. etcetera to deal with. Without resorting to MN. For example, 'should i go to a&e with little Alfie?'. Sod off with your dingbatness. Common sense is not a flower that grows in everyone's garden is it?

Armoured jacket firmly on.

Yes I completely agree. What annoys me the most though is people asking if they should vaccinate. Really makes me properly angry!! If they would only speak to their GP and not listen to uninformed people on the internet we wouldn't have a problem with preventable diseases coming back!

dinkydolphin · 10/02/2019 00:46

ALSO upload a full page of 'My husband had cheated on me 300 times" or "My friend is treating me like shit" and time after time when people try to give advice they rebute it and drip feed a full other story just because they aren't getting the answer they want. Fuck off if you aren't going to take advice!

JasperKarat · 10/02/2019 00:51

DH doesn't load the dishwasher right, should I LTB? Five psges later... Oh and he stole all my money, shot the cat and called my gran a cunt, didn't mean to drip feed 😇

ILoveMaxiBondi · 10/02/2019 00:53

Grin jasper always followed go with “he’s a great dad”

PentreBachCymraeg · 10/02/2019 01:09

Grinhaha, i rest my case in a cosy sleeping bag!

I totally agree OP, one person has a hangnail and asks if they should dial 999 while another has a gash on the leg down to the bone with blood spurting and wonders if they should wait for the GP appointment Tuesday week? (Obviously both slight exaggerations ['grin] Of course when I fell and broke my hip in the garden I immediately dragged myself indoors to ask MNers what I should do, not.

Jasper that drives me mad too - followed, as ILoveMaxi says by he's a lovely person really and such a great dad. No he's not, he's an abusive arsehole!

Klopptimist · 10/02/2019 02:10

'I'm going to Aldi this afternoon, what should I buy?'

'Am I pregnant?'

'It says "avoid alcohol" on my prescription, am I ok to have a glass of wine?'

artisanscotcheggs · 10/02/2019 02:31

This is going to be GREAT.

Yesicancancan · 10/02/2019 03:23

My friend borrowed £200 and hasn’t paid it back yet, I noticed she is wearing new shoes, is she taking the piss.

Justagirlwholovesaboy · 10/02/2019 03:31

The am I pregnant miracles are special “I haven’t had sex for a year and regular periods but I have tummy ache”.

LaBelleSauvage · 10/02/2019 03:46

My child wasn't chosen for the lead in the school nativity even though she definitely wanted it the most. Should I set up a meeting with the head teacher?

Tinysarah1985 · 10/02/2019 03:54

Oh yes! I do sometimes worry about the future of mankind when I read some of the posts here Smile. Still, they’re good for a laugh Wink

PentreBachCymraeg · 10/02/2019 10:08

Those constantly being used by CF'ers.

Just say NO.

OP posts:
SilverySurfer · 10/02/2019 16:15

My pfb was disciplined for creating havoc in the classroom - I want the teacher sacked, do I go to the head or governors? Grin

drspouse · 10/02/2019 16:18

Not just "should I vaccinate" but "give me your personal experiences of not vaccinating".
Because those are SO MUCH MORE valid than the weight of medical evidence.

FlashingLights101 · 10/02/2019 16:20

I genuinely believe most of these are fake. People know what gets the best audience (should I vaccinate, parking threads, my friend's a pisstaker, was this racist etc etc) and make up threads based on those scenarios. I used to thinkost threads we're genuine, but so many of these are so far fetched or, as you say, unbelievable in a why on earth can't you work this out yourself way, that I take a lot of them with a large handful of salt.

mimibunz · 10/02/2019 16:20

I agree. I don’t understand the number of timid creatures who can’t stand up to their MILs in particular.

budgetneeded · 10/02/2019 16:22

That’s why I love mn, it makes me feel wise.

iklboo · 10/02/2019 16:24

There's a weird smell in my kitchen. What can it be?

How the chuff would we know? They've not invented the Smellophone yet.
