Workmen at the house

I have recently had workmen doing a job on the outside of the house and have read this causes anxiety for some people but i had anxiety when they completed the job and left my property as I used to enjoy watching the different stages of the work being carried out. I now find it sad when they aren't around any more. Just wondered if any one else has felt like this.

I suffer from both. So anxious while work is being done. Then find it hard to trust the work is ok afterwards. Anxiety levels way beyond what they should be. Hate it and aside from money, explains why the house is falling apart. I just hate having anyone in doing work.

In addition I don’t feel the same about work in places I don’t live in. Purely connected to the place I call home.

Iwonder if it was an ASMR thing?

Many years ago I worked in London and every week we would have a lady come round and clean the phones. I would watch her work her way round the phones and get a warm fuzzy feeling from it (long before ASMR got invented).

No I definitely don't feel like this
We've had tradesmen working at our house for about 5 years now, inside work, outside work, a barn conversion and a complete garden overhaul. It's still not finished and I'm sure I'll miss them when they go. In about 2 years time. I probably talk to the builders more than I talk to DH
