Watched A Star is Born recently and all the songs were filmed live,she was brilliant in it,as was Bradley Cooper.Any one else a fan of that film?

When you compare the likes of Cheryl Tweedy to some one like Lady Gaga, the contrast is staggering.
She is talented, creative, imaginative. I'm not really a fan as such but even I can see the woman is talented.

Love it and have loved her for ages. She’s an insane underrated talent who is getting the recognition she deserves.

What's the other version of ASiB apart from this one, Barbra Streisand and Judy Garland?

I LOVE Lady Gaga, and she is a great singer, probably almost underrated in that way. However her songwriting skills are limited. 'The Fame' was a bloody great pop album but even just by her second album you could see she was running out of steam, pop wise at least. Lots of the songs starting to sound similar and using same old chord progressions, not to mention Born This Way being a huge rip off of Express Yourself (but still a great song).

However, i don't think you could say she 'isn't talented'.

The song "Shallow" she wrote for SIB is very good, her voice sounds so much better on it than her usual music imo

She's brilliant anyway - saw her live last year (we got lucky because next show was cancelled). When she just sits at the piano and sings she is amazing, no backing vocals, no band.
