Does this seem like to much of expected

I had my phone bill linked to my account as a direct debit. I’ve recently asked the bank to put ex amount on a standing order into my joint account. they advised they wouldn’t be able to do it for the 3rd of the month as I had only set it up on the 31st advised it would happen until March the 3rd and I would have to transfer manually myself this month which I did on the 1st. come the 3rd bank Then transferred money into my joint account automatically. The same day my phone bill was due to be paid since yesterday I’ve had 8 automated calls 2 voice mails and 2 texts I’ve tried this morning to pay over my app but it’s not working and the automatic call won’t let me pay as they can’t find my bill and haven’t had time to ring have just paid now but feel all those calls where over kill.

I'm finding it difficult to follow all of your detail, but are you essentially saying that your phone bill was 1 day overdue and you've received all those calls, voicemails, texts?

Yes that’s correct gazellda sorry I’m very dyslexic and still really struggle despite all the learning I still do

OP I agree the calls are overkill....i do fine mobile providers get quite panicky because they struggle to reclaim unpaid monies

Ring them and explain and I am sure they will accept that , it's far more hassle to them to to do anything else but agreed they are massively overkill
