Full time nursery?

DD is 3 and gets her free 15 hours at a school nursery. She does 2.5 days. On a couple of days she also does wrap around when I am working. She finds these days very long and still naps in the day for a day or so afterwards.

Nursery have asked me to confirm if I want her to go full time from September ( DD will be at nursery for 2 years as started as a 2 year old). My work are keen for me to up my hours. However I am not sure this is best for DD?

Also DC1 also did 2 years in nursery and enjoyed doing part time for the whole time - and I think benefitted from not being full time till they started school. Is it fair for one child to have 2 years part time and one pushed into full time a year early?

We can manage on my current hours and I could ask work if I can wait a year to up my hours. WWYD?

I'd keep your reduced hours as long as you can if you can manage, and always keep a day off if you can! By the time she gets to school you have school holidays to deal with and that's a whole new world of pain. I am completely in favour of nursery by the way just don't complicate your life if you don't need to.
