Already posted on chat but wanted more traffic.

Don't worry! This isn't a police bashing thread.

My friend called 101 yesterday to report something quite serious involving herself that someone had done. Didn't ring 999 because obviously wasn't an emergency any more and she was safe at the point of the phone call.

They took all her details, and the other persons details and said someone from community relations (she thinks thats what they said) will be in touch. She called yesterday at 9.30am.

She hasn't heard anything since, she's a little upset due to the fact the other person is quite happily telling people what happens and is laughing.

She wasn't given a crime ref number, does she just sit and wait to be contacted. I think she feels forgotten about.

She can contact 101 and ask if it have been passed to the relevant officers and can ask for their contact details or for them to be contacted again. But it’s not surprising she hasn’t heard from them yet, unfortunately non urgent enquiries will take longer for a response.

Can I message you Nicknacky? She doesn't really want the details being public because it will be identifying.
