I know lots of young people that have had bowel cancer but none well enough to ask the details of the run up to their diagnosis.
Obviously I know the vague symptoms. Bleeding etc.
But where a tumour suddenly came out of someone’s bum or they had excruciating stomach pain, cancer charities don’t tend to give much detail on the early symptoms. The most you hear is ‘had a diagnosis of IBD/IBS’.
Anyone who has had it and has recovered please would you share the run up and whether there was anything you could have noticed earlier.
