Homework with a partner

Urgh. Hate this. I know once they get into the world of work they need to be able to work as a team but at secondary? My DD Y7 was teamed up with a classmate to complete a project. DD turned up for homework club and partnernot once. DD did the whole thingAngry If it's any good her partner gets some of the credit!

Hate this type of work!

What kind of homework was it? To me the benefit of dd doing her homework is to her only, ie the person who does it gets better at that particularly thing. It's irrelevant if anyone else sees it/marks it/etc. The benefit is in the doing, otherwise it'd be pointless. Unless it was coursework or something.
