Be honest - who can get a jar of Nutella & not eat most of it off a spoon? Just me?

@TchoupiEtDoudou I love them both! Obvs not together though. I'm not that weird. Hmm

I don’t like it - never have. I really don’t know why - it’s chocolate and nuts and I love both. Now I could eat my body weight in Ferrero Rocher.

Deeedeeee · 06/02/2019 19:11

Crumpets just as addictive imo. Can't have them or nutella in the house.

LilQuim · 06/02/2019 19:11

@bella1426 I bought crumpets, telling myself I'd be restrained. I've already had 2 big spoons.

Oh I used to love the little plastic pots with the spatula type spoon. We would go to the corner shop after school and buy loads of them. That was in about 1982!
Happy days Smile

LilQuim · 06/02/2019 19:11

@Tattybear16 I'm a straight off the spoon girl too! Mmmmmmm

If you’re susceptible to Nutella avoid biscoff at all costs!
Take it from someone who’s been on that slippery slope as has the muffin top to prove it

Deeedeeee · 06/02/2019 19:12

Oh no I'm really craving crumpets and nutella now

LilQuim · 06/02/2019 19:13

@Deeedeeee crumpets smothered in butter. Or Nutella. Mmmmmmm. Thankfully my son hates crumpets. Weirdo.

DON'T MENTION THE BISCOFF SPREAD!!

Fink · 06/02/2019 19:13

Not Nutella, which I'm not particularly fussed about, but Speculoos. I get through so much of that. It's spread an inch thick on my toast in the mornings, used as cake filling or icing (mixed with Philadelphia), and eaten straight out of the jar neat.

I might try giving it up for Lent this year. It might kill me.

LilQuim · 06/02/2019 19:13

@violeticecream those were incredible! Gateway to the huge jars for me though. Lol

Sobs... stupid diet.

LilQuim · 06/02/2019 19:14

@Twinmama32 I love the biscuits, but tbh I'm not sure about the spread. Prob best I don't try it. My muffin top is out of control as it is. Sad

Sainsburys used to do a Belgian chocolate spread that was heavenly.

justtakingabath · 06/02/2019 19:15

it is just so sweet (and yummy). For this reason I only buy it once in a blue moon...

@Deeedeeee pop round mine. I'll make you a Nespresso latte too.

LilQuim · 06/02/2019 19:16

@Deeedeeee I'm scared to try this now!!!!

OP posts:
LilQuim · 06/02/2019 19:16

@Fink never tried it. I need to stop reading....

Deeedeeee · 06/02/2019 19:17

The biscoff stuff is utterly amazing, much nicer than nutella to eat on its own. But don't think it would work on crumpets, so it loses points there.

LilQuim · 06/02/2019 19:17

@VaggieMight well, there was that one time. Or two...

I’m trying to find a decent marmite substitute (long story but that the last penny those idiots get from me - much to the chagrin of DS). Is vegemite nice?

Ellieboolou27 · 06/02/2019 19:17

I can’t have it in the house as my kids will wNt it and I don’t like sharing Grin
Most of my glasses are Nutella jars Blush
