So dc primary school has (or at least her class has, not sure if it applies to whole school) banned toilets visits during lessons. Dc is yr 4/ 8yrs old. This has coincided with dc starting to wet the bed out of the blue in the last month and to wet themselves in the daytime a little bit, have noticed underwear has faeces marks on them when they didn’t before also. I have encouraged dc to make sure they are going before school/break/lunch, but as with adults, you can’t always plan your toilet visits, sometimes you’ve just got to go.
I am irratated that this school never used to have this rule and it seems there are a group of trouble makers in dc class who are spoiling it for everyone else and I suspect this is why the rule has been brought in because of the, messing about on alleged toilet visits. My arguement is why should the whole class/school suffer just because of a small group of unruly kids that can’t behave themselves?
After dc came home yesterday and said they almost pooed themselves in class that’s the final straw and I’m having it out with school today if I can get hold of the teacher. I’ve had one child with bowel problems through childhood, I don’t need another.
Anyone else’s primary school ban toilet visits?
