So my favourite band of all time (Fleetwood Mac) are playing on my due date. Do you think their management would alter the date by a week or so either side if I explained my predicament??

YANBU. If they don't agree to a date change I'm sure they'll be happy to pop by the hospital and serenade you while in labour.

Probably not but you might be able to speed baby's arrival according to a number of old wives' tales but then you would need to find a baby sitter Grin and according to many MN tales you aren't supposed to let anyone near you and your baby for a goood month Hmm

Lol.
Reminds me of taking my 39 week bump along to see the Police at Wembley Arena 11 years ago. I was 39 years old, missed seeing them when I was 13 and it made sense at the time. I figured that if I did give birth at the concert, Sting would have done as a godfather.

Totally reasonable. BigBag also makes a sensible suggestion.

Contact them and make the requests.

DD was 9 days over, I'll ask them to be in the general vicinity for the couple of weeks either side just incase. It would benefit the other mothers on the ward too, I guess. Unless they don't like Fleetwood Mac, and in that case they are being very unreasonable.

NU. I bet they'd set up a live stream, just in case! grin I bet watching FM between huffs of Entonox is great!
