I live in a terraced house. I can hear noise from both sides. To be expected in a terrace and although not ideal I Usually don't have an issue at all as I have children and know that neighbours will certainly be able to hear us.
However, my bedroom is adjacent to 13 year old boy. He is often left on his own whilst mother goes out and doesn't return until very late. He is horrendous. He is on his x box all night. He swears at the top of his voice in a really aggressive way. Fuck off you cunt constantly and also says racist stuff. Tonight is really bad. I banged on wall he shouted Oy what u banging about Bro!

The dad has recently left so it's just his mum at home. Should I speak to her about it or do you think I havnt really got the right to complain about the swearing. It's actually making me feel quite stressed in my own house. It's so loud I cannot sleep. Any advice? Thanks.

So he’s talking to his mates through his x box. Definitely speak to his mum, it’s unacceptable. Emphasise the bad language/shouting.
