Prescription painkillers & anti-anxiety meds

Consultant has said I need my opioids changing from 100mg tramadol four times daily to oxycodone but gp will only start on 10mg twice daily with no information about increasing dose. I can already tell 10mg isn't enough to deal with pain levels. Surely I should be given an adequate dosage to deal with the pain? Then diazepam. Have been told I should stop taking it "soon" despite taking it for ptsd relating to childhood experiences.

So stressing about pain and meds in addition to health problems and life stuff now. Small practice with few drs too.
