Just want an opinion if I should complain or not?
I ordered a veggie meal on a plane and they told me they didn't have one for me.
Showed them my confirmation which said Asia Vegetarian on my booking.
They blamed my travel agent and just shrugged, not their fault , nothing they can do.
I was offered fish or chicken instead.
This was a 10 hour flight!!
I ate bread rolls and cheese.
WWYD complain or not.?

It’s the fault of the travel agency that booked you.

If you have a dietary requirement, it’s best to contact the airline 48 hours before you fly and confirm they have your request logged. And take food with you in case they get it wrong.

I’m dairy allergic (as in epipen allergic). Recent 14 hour flight where I did all the above and they still missed my meal requirements. I had snacks. Yes I was disappointed, but the staff were very apologetic and did their best.

People make mistakes. It’s really not that big a deal.

I did say to the purser how would he feel to have no food for 10 hours I feel a bit embarrassed for you saying that. You did have food. Basically a cheese sandwich, fruit and a scone with jam. You were hardly being starved. Plus 10 hours isn't masses of time, I work in a busy job and regularly don't get chance to eat for 10 hours!

Yes it's annoying and unprepared of them. So I'd complain saying you didn't get what was ordered but leave the drama out of it. I always take food on flights, a few snacks as a minimum as I have coeliac disease and my reaction to gluten could be life threatening. If you've dietary needs or food preferences it's always best to take something along.
