Bus trouble what to do

To go to the police about this? DD was on a bus on the way home from school and another child started giving her a bit of trouble. After having had a plastic bottle thrown at her and hitting her on the head, when she retaliated and went to throw it back, he threatened to stab her if she did. When the bottle was thrown back at him he has taken a pencil and stabbed it into the back of her neck. The attack has drawn a small amount of blood and left a small mark of broken skin. We tried contacting the school we belived he goes to but they have no record of him.

Have you been in touch with the bus company, nearly all the buses where I live have CCTV. I would start there and then with the police.

Yes go to the police, that boy has assaulted your DD and it should be reported. As Dis said, see if the bus company has CCTV on their buses. I hope your DD is ok.

Completely agree to go the police. Is there another school in your area that he could go to? I'd contact them too.

Thanks everyone, I am going to report it, I don't know why I was questioning if I should or not. I don't know which other school he might go to but I will try to find out.
