Anyone else have SKY troubles?

Our Sky hasn't been working now for over 2 weeks! The Netflix works fine but any satellite TV, boxsets, recordings etc do not work.

I've rung them twice- on hold for over 45mins, gave up. Tweeted them, no reply.

How else can I contact them efficiently without wasting my time? Surely if they have a problem they should have more people on the phones AND not expect us to pay our bill this month. It's ridiculous!

I've used their site too and completed the instructions to fix my supposed issue but nothing works.

AIBU?

We've had no problems with the TV service, sounds like you have a localised problem. I've had to phone recently about our snail broadband speed and they've answered very quickly, maybe try some of the other numbers.

Go on to sky.com and try live chat if it’s available. Also check your bill to make sure it’s paid up to date as they cut services if you’re in debt (I’m sure you’re not, just in case there’s been a problem).

Google sky CEO send email
They get back within 72 hours

HariboLecter · 31/01/2019 12:56

Might be a stupid question, but have you tried unplugging it for a few hours and then rebooting?

nighttimebrowsing · 31/01/2019 13:48

@HariboLecter yes tried that :(

@Nojobistoobig yeah we're all up to date on everything- I think it may be localised, we're on the seafront and it's been so windy at night lately- maybe need someone to come and look at the satellite?
