Let's all tell the government how we feel about Brexit

After months of feeling powerless and despondent about the whole awful situation I've just e-mailed my MP and the PM to express my grave concerns about leaving the EU. AIBU to suggest you all to the same? It may make no difference but I feel a bit better!

I’ve been exchanging emails with mine for months. She agrees with me. She also knows I won’t vote for her again if her party’s leader doesn’t start putting the country’s best interests ahead of their party.

I emailed mine several times after the referendum and have emailed her before each of the recent votes. She voted leave and I live in a very leave constituency. She ignores all my emails, but I'm hoping some minion is keeping a tally of constituents views.

I know it's not going to make any difference but it felt very satisfying.

Good for you op. You're right we should all write to our MPs and demand answers to specific questions about the problems Brexit is causing us. I feel there a real public support for no deal though, loads of people either don't believe any experts predictions (based on international law) of problems and others seem to actively looking forward to shortages so they can show the world how (stupid) plucky we are.

Do you really think people haven't been making their views known to their MPs and anyone else who will listen? And those views differ widely - that is the problem.
