To be worrying about this??

Someone has tried to open my front door twice today!

I have been home most of the day with a Dfriend watching films and feeling sorry for ourselves with being full of cold, earlier I went to nip to the shop and saw that the latch on my door was adjar (have attached photo as I have no idea what this type of latch is called) and this only happens when someone has opened and shut the door whilst it has been over, was a little concerned however assumed a family member has tried to gain access.
DF then went to leave earlier on this evening and it had happened again! I've rang/messaged family & friends to see if they'd tried popping around and no one has.

I'm now sat home alone worrying myself silly, my doors are locked, windows shut with them being ground floor level (I live in an over 55s council bungalow estate due to Ds's disabilities)i have left my outside lights on and also a lamp in the living room.

I'm going to ask a couple neighbours tomorrow if they saw anyone but am I being unreasonable to be worrying this much? Is there anything else that I can do to create a safer environment or am I going OTT with this anyway??

Thankyou!

Surely this safety hinge is also used with a lock and key - so someone has a key to your home?

Could the wind have blown it open? I can't see a photo.

This is the type that can only be opened from inside so think you will be,ok. Is your back door secure? Id be tempted to stick a note on each door saying you have cctv in operation, you never know if it was someone trying their luck it might put them off trying again. Good idea to keep lights on too.
