To think this Miele turbo brush should have lasted longer?

I bought a Miele cat and dog hoover around 1 year ago. The turbo brush head was great at picking up cat hair from the carpet. However, the turbo brush head has now stopped turning quickly and so does not work. I have taken it apart (unscrewing 6 screws plus the 2 plastic ones) and cleared any debris but still doesn't work.

Has anyone had any experience of this? I don't feel happy about buying a new turbo brush head at around £50 (!!!!) as I feel like the thing might just break again.

Looking online I thought it could be the belt, but even buying a replacement one of these is looking pricey- for such a tiny part!

Argh! I am quite cross as this hoover was not cheap. Please help! Does anyone know what the problem could be and how to mend it!?

My turbo brush is ancient and still works ok. Contact miele?

Just phone Miele, they have a 2-year guarantee. They will send you a new one.

New brush head that is! (Not vacuum cleaner).
