I'm currently sitting on my own in a restaurant, as my friend is over an hour late.
We've met here once before. It's in the borough that I live in. She lives in another borough. Earlier I double checked she knew where she was going this evening, she was confident she did, that it was where we'd met x friend previously, which was correct.
She called me to say she's in a neighbouring borough 
She typed in the name of the road, didn't check it was actually the right version of that road, and blindly drove following the directions. Even though she had to go IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION to how she would get to my area!!!
My mum did this a few years ago. She was reeeeeeeeally late meeting me for lunch. When she finally arrived and I asked what happened, she said she'd got lost following the sat nav even though she's driven to that pub hundreds of times over the years needing no directions (and no she doesn't have dementia)!!!!!
Time to order a third G&T, I think....
