To ask how many photos you have on your phone?

I've currently got just over 45,000.

It kills me and I am slowly working my way through deleting them. Just wondering if anyone can top it?

Not me. About 300. I transfer the good ones to my PC and delete them so that they don't take up all of my iCloud storage.

How long did it take to accumulate 45,000 photos and how do you have room for them all on your phone?

About 10. I transfer them every so often to google photos. They can still be accessed on the phone but don't use up as much storage. I can also see them on the computer. Also set up so dh and my photos are on the same account.

They have been accumulated over 5 years and I have no issues with storage space which I think is a big part of the problem 😩

3,500. Some are from my old phone after the person in the Vodafone shop transferred them - helpfully filling up a tonne of storage space before I’d even used my new phone.
I do delete multiples of the same photo, just keeping the best shot, in an effort to keep the number down.

Just did the maths - that's an average of 25 photos per day for 5 years... you must have a near-perfect record of what you've been up to!

I got my first smartphone 18 months ago (didn't have a phone at all for 5 years before that) so I'm way behind the curve when it comes to the way people use their phones. I have 4 photos on mine right now: one is to remind me where I parked, and one is an accidental close-up of my face

Around 4500, no intention of deleting, i back up to Icloud, Google photos, Amazon photos and Shoebox plus my external hard drive

Yes, all backed up (I've changed phone about 4 times). I've also got 1000's on memory chips and on my laptop from my camera.

Yes, I pay extra for Cloud storage and also backup to my computer from time to time.

1,500 since about November. Back up and delete regularly (well keep a select few favourites each time). I love taking photos, my memory is terrible and my photos of DH, baby DS, friends, familys, days out, holidays and celebrations are very very precious to me. I look through them often.

I transfer mine over to Photobox, it’s an app that store limitless photos. So I have about 20 photos on my phone. I’ve had the app for about 9 years, so many, many thousands of photos on there.

I also have a digital camera, probably with 12 photos waiting to be uploaded.

About 6 ... but then I'm a photography nerd and can't be doing with taking pictures on my phone.

To all of you who have thousands, please, please tell me that you're backing them up somewhere. You hear so many stories of people losing precious images when their phone does astray.

Probably about 60. Once a month I download to my laptop and back up x 2. I then delete them from my phone.

3,769. That's over 4 years. I recently had a cull to get it down from over 5000 as I panic I'll run out of space.

I found a great app called Gemini which helps clear repeated or blurry photos. Saved me so much time. You can sign up for a free trial.
