Tom Kerridge Dopamine Diet Book

Hello, I'm thinking of trying the Dopamine Diet as i saw it on the TV program How To Lose Weight Well. Has anyone had success on it?
I was therefore thinking of buying the Tom Kerridge Dopamine Diet recipe book but it costs £16.99. I wondered if it was worth buying? I've got loads of cook books so am hesitating on if it's worth it! I heard that Tom Kerridge didn't actually lose his weight following this but don't know how much of that is true!
Anyone had any success on the diet or any advise on Toms book?
Thanks

I have the book. It’s pretty good. I have it to supplement other low carb recipes. They’re recipes he developed whilst dieting.

It’s £7 in the WHSmith near me. I had a good look at it this weekend

I have it, it was buy one get one 1/2 price at the time so that brought the expense down. The recipes I’ve tried have worked out well but they’re very ‘chefy’ and need lots of ingredients that aren’t always available in supermarkets (inulin for example - I’d never heard of it). He also uses pork a lot, I sub with chicken as I don’t like it. He apparently did initially lose the weight with this but found it restrictive (which low carb is) and does a different plan now.

DH bought this book for me at Christmas, although I had already lost 2 stones on the blood sugar diet by then. There are some nice recipes in it, useful for continuing the diet, but the portions are pretty big.

Thanks Almahart - i've just looked on WHSmiths website and it is £7. Will be getting it tomorrow!
Thanks also for all the other replies too.
I'd like to lose 2 stone and really need to find something that works. I love food and enjoy it, so always find it hard to cut down. I'm hoping this will help. I wonder if anyone has had results on it? My next mission once i have the book is to get a good fitness DVD so i can do both together.
