The front of our house sits back about 4/5 feet from the pavement. We had a picket fence there that separated our garden from the path, but a few months ago the wind took it down and we haven't had the money to replace it, so decided to leave it all down and do up the front garden in the summertime. However people walking past with their dogs think it's ok to stop and let their dogs piss all over our from garden. I've caught them doing it. (And parents letting their toddlers walk all over it) I've picked dog shit up off there too. Aibu to think this is really rude of them? I have small kids and a dog and I would no way allow any of them to think it's ok to go on someone else's property!! I would no way allow the dog to even walk across it let alone piss or shit on it!

Just caught a young guy doing it just now and I banged on the window and he jumped out of his skin 🙈 so so rude.

I have every sympathy for you. I have a dog and I think all people walking dogs should pick up their poo and not let them trespass on other people's gardens. My dog knows not to go somewhere if I tell her it is "someone's garden". Unfortunately, I see many dogowners/walkers behaving badly. Even in the forest near me (which has plenty of notices about dogs in the forest - several rules including you must pick up their poo if the do taht in the forest) many, many people let their dogs poo and don't pick it up; I've even heard them say, "It is just the forest". This morning my dog stepped in a huge pile (a bit ironic considering we do the right thing and even occasionally take home other people's abandoned full poo bags to throw away).

As a dog owner, I try and discourage my dog going on someone else front garden/drive.

A wee does sometimes catch me out, sometimes he will cock his leg up against a wall infront of a drive etc but I'd never let a dog poo on someones front garden/drive.

There's just no need for it! No respect what so ever 😡

I have a puppy. If it was me I apologise. I am trying to train him, he is getting there. Having said that he has never poo'd in someone's garden - that would mortify me, I'd probably have to leave a note apologising Blush
