Current state of flatshare is sharing key bathroom items (loo roll etc)... just dawned on me that my flatmate has his own private supply of soap and takes it out the bathroom after use? I only noticed recently so have been using shower gel as a quick fix to wash my hands but will get some ASAP. Feels weird that they are doing this

Maybe they use expensive soap/special soap for sensitive skin/something like that so don’t want to be replacing it often

Aquamarine1029 · 27/01/2019 22:31

It isn't something I'd waste time thinking about honestly. He wants to use his own products and that's his prerogative.

Miane · 27/01/2019 22:33

If he chooses to buy something expensive why not?

At least he won’t be using yours so you can buy whatever you like.

Winterfellismyhome · 27/01/2019 22:33

I dont think its weird. Maybe they just like using their own stuff 🤷🏻‍♀️

Solveigg · 27/01/2019 22:33

It’s Sainsbury’s basic soap for hand washing.

If it's a bar of soap then I can understand it but if it's a squirty gel type one then it's weird

Drogosnextwife · 27/01/2019 22:36

So your annoyed that he's not leaving his stuff there for you to use?

Solveigg · 27/01/2019 22:37

No, we have always alternately bought new ones - this is a recent and odd development!!

Yep squirty kind

Meh it’s a bit odd but I wouldn’t worry about it - if he’s using his own at least he isn’t CFerying yours.
