Have a steam mop with a removable toweling head and a swifter type mop with a microfiber head. If I put these on a 60 wash would it be awful to also put in cloths for wiping down countertops?? Are they all clean when they come out or is it horrible to put counter cloths in with floor cloths??

I was all cloths at 60 in one load. Never even considered it might be yucky

StealthPolarBear · 27/01/2019 12:44

It's fine

Spudina · 27/01/2019 12:44

On 60 I think that's fine and have done the same.

I just put disinfectant in the washing machine with all my cleaning things in together... Grin

SpoonBlender · 27/01/2019 12:54

All in together is fine. The point is to clean them, right? (Although as per a thread last week, I do draw the line at bogbrushes in the dishwasher!)

If you use bleach/disinfectant in that wash, I'd run an empty rinse wash afterwards to get that all out of the machine.

I was just going to put some of that dettol laundry cleanser in with them? Glad it's not as gross as I thought it could be! Definitely draw the line stage bog brush in the dishwasher though, my cats bowls don't even go in there, no way a toilet brush is!
