I am a sahm with a new baby and 2 older children at school. I am beginning to realise I am lonely. Dh is away for a couple days with work so since Thursday lunchtime till approx 11pm tonight I won't have spoken to anyone apart from my children.
During the week I have approx 3 hours of other adult contact, with other parents while waiting at clubs for the older ones.
I don't have many friends and those I do have have lots of other friends or jobs so I don't see them often and when I do it's me making the contact.
Not much point to this post really but am feeling tearful today and wondered how many of us go days without speaking to anyone else.
