Post is genuine by the way.
A teacher I know has been dismissed.
She teaches special needs and was asking the pupils a series of questions on the understanding that if they get the answer correct they get a biscuit if they get it wrong they get a dog biscuit.
One of the parents found out and complained.

I wouldn't believe them because no-one is that stupid, I'd also expect to have read about some think so stupid in the papers

I’d have complained too. That’s horrible. They don’t just dismiss teachers for no reason. What capacity did these children have for understanding the “joke”? For dealing with the confusion and disappointment around the rewards and booby prize. They’ve got SEN, ridiculing them for giving a wrong answer and pitting them against their peers is not really good practice in any type of teaching, but especially SEN teaching!

If your friend is feeling hard done by, she need to have a good look at herself. Learn all about empathy, discrimination, bullying, inclusion, equality, etc. Because this was beyond stupid and cruel in such a setting. I don’t understand how someone who works with such children can ever have thought this was ok. I think it’s acceptable that she was dismissed from her position. I wouldn’t want that sort of attitude in my SEN child’s classroom.

Well that's the thing in her own mind she thought it was fine just a bit of fun and not meant as nasty or cruel.
