I was shocked earlier reading a post ( not in here ) about toys lin living rooms etc
My living room is a mess from 8 - 8 😂always clean but for instance today looked like playmobil had vomited all over it.
We don’t have a play room however she does have her own bedroom which is a decent size however I prefer her to play in the living room if I am in there ?
So was shocked to see how many parents said they can’t deal with toys etc she has a 12 kallax in her bedroom / musical stuff and art stuff in there plus all teddies and dolls.
In living room a 12 kallax, big has her playmobil / Polly pockets and big barbie sets set up in there ! So it’s never toy free !
Is this unusual !!

Oy for those of us without a toy Roo.!! GOD I'd kill for a toy room. With a sofa on for me.

But yes otherwise its in the living room. He's 3, he's not sitting in his room alone to play

All my family joke I could open a nursery with the amount of toys in my living room. To me it's a family room and my 2 year old should be able to enjoy spending time in there with his toys. They all get put away at the end of the day. One day he will be grown up and I will miss the toy chaos lol. So I'm with you on this Smile

Haha yes we don’t have a play room at all !
A bedroom but I would feel like I would never see her if she spent all day in there 😂

We had a playroom when the kids were younger and there were still toys in the living room...actually there were toys in every other room as well.

Now the kids are older, 15 and 9, I miss there being toys everywhere.☹️ Youngest has lost interest over the last year or so. She loves art but rarely plays with toys and has asked to donate or sell a lot of them. Oldest is mostly on his P.C.

I remember going for a play date at someone else's house. All the toys were in boxes and she had a rule of no more than 3 toys out at once. That wouldn't have worked for us but her house was very tidy. 😂

Kallax are great !

I do have a playroom or rather a room that stores all the toys as dc prefer to drag the toys into the living room and play in there, not sure why as playroom has a sofa and a tv!
