It can't just be me, right? I've recently started watching Blaze and the Monster Machines with my DS and I hate Blaze. He's a sanctimonious hypocrite and a smug bastard.
For starters, does anyone but Blaze ever win? No, the answer is no. He never helps anyone do anything but follow his ass across the finish line.
Second, how is "blazing speed" not cheating? No one else has blazing speed, so why the fuck does he?
Third, (and most annoying), why is he always best at everything? There's a fire and Blaze is a better firefighter than all the actual firefighters. Blaze goes to Animal Island on a lark and gets elected fucking KING of Animal Island. Why not an actual animal that, you know, LIVES there? Blaze goes to Velocityville, turns into a racecar and beats all the other racecars. Blaze becomes a robot and is the best robot, etc.
I understand that it's a STEM show, but what about teamwork? Why does nothing good happen unless Blaze is involved? I hate Blaze and I genuinely think he's not a good example, unless the example is to always be the very best and use everyone around you to get to the top, whilst pretending to be honest and trustworthy.
Is it just me?
