'STOP SLAMMING THE FUCKING DOOOOOOOOOOOOR' at my DSS??

He goes into his bedroom and he slams the door. He's not angry, he's not rushing, he just can't be bothered to take the time to close it quietly. Every. Single. Time.

He is reminded occasionally (not as often as I'd like) but it makes no difference anyway.

When I hear him come out of his room I'm instantly tense waiting for the bannngggg as he goes back in again.

I have fantasises of just going upstairs and unscrewing it from the hinges and throwing it down the stairs Grin

Invest in those wee things that stop doors from slamming and trapping little fingers?

Pigletthedog · 22/01/2019 18:54

Do they stop the doors shutting though @fairypuff ? He's nearly 12 so he needs the privacy of being able to shut it fully - and it does muffle the sound of him roaring into his Xbox headset so I'd be loathe to have it not shutting
