At what age would you stop allowing different sex sleepovers?

DS is 13 and has been invited to a sleepover. He is part of Scouts and has slept in big halls and stuff with girls but they are in different corners usually.

He hasn't had a sleepover with girls since he was about 8 and they were his cousins!!!

It's for a 13th birthday. There will be 10 in total, 3 girls.

Thanks.

If he wants to go I’d let him, and trust the birthday boy’s parents to manage the situation effectively. I have a 13yo DS btw.

never . the boys were bad enough from about age 7 onwards at my school growing up and having spoken to my friends now about it they all experienced inappropriate things happening from boys from a v young age.

We used to have mixed sleepovers age 15, 16, we weren't all rampantly shagging. Don't think we even played spin the bottle.

It properly depends on the kids in the first instance, but I'd ask the parents how they intend to manage this. Will the boys and girls be separate or in the same room? Is your DS keen to go? Are there any'couples' amongst the kids?
