I want to talk to school about my daughter speech and language.
She is in reception and has significant speech delay.
She has an ECHP which gives her 1-1 for full hours and has set hours for speed and language.
She has a 1-1 who from what I can tell is super nice no issue.
But there is a communication / language barrier.
I struggle to understand clearly what she is saying and vice versa.
I was informed that a speech and language therapist was going in to school to run through some things rhe 1-1 can do with daughter for her speech and language part of her ECHP.
As I said she is a lovely 1-1 and have 0 issues with her apart from I’m a bit worried how she will help my daughter with her speech and language.
I don’t want to come across wrong when asking 🙈
