Hi. Ex dp and I broke up about 5 years ago. We have a 9 yr old ds together and i also have an 18 yr old ds from a previous marriage. We simply grew apart and I kept thinking that the grass was greener and that I would be living this amazing, independent single life.
Obviously that wasn't the case and so here we are many years later getting close again.
He has been spending some time here with me and the boys since Christmas. It's been amazing. It just feels so comfortable and right and also it's lovely having someone to share the load. Obviously we don't want to rush into anything for the ds's sake.
So my question is, has anyone ever gone back after this length of time and had it work out? Can it work out?
