Aibu to question why LBC only has one regular female presenter Sheila Fogarty? Is it that most women are more balanced in their arguments.

Well they just gave Rees Mogg a slot on LBC and still only have one woman presenter.I am almost at the point of stopping listening at all as LBC have too many presenters like Farage and Rees Mogg and too many of the callers present one sided arguments,are allowed to rant,and are not challenged at all. The majority of callers are male. I keep having to turn the station off as there is now so much crap on LBC.

Jeez last not ght Tom somebody had a man call in ranting and shouting about throwing all England's sh people out to f Northern Ireland and he let him rant for ages. I turned over to BBC 4. But I think the sort of radio harms our society as it gives a voice to any butter.

I hate predictive text. The nutter wants English people driven out of Northern Ireland and got to rant on national radio for a long time.

They only have one female presenter because the demographic they largely aim for is misogynistic, racist middle aged men. Why on earth would you even put it on?

You both make very good points and, as if giving the blighter his own programme isn't sufficient, Rees Smug is being interviewed by Ferrari right now. However, O'Brien is entertaining and brings a bit of balance, as does Nick Abbott - although balance is probably not a word used often around him - and Shelagh Fogarty is absolutely excellent at her job. Tom Swarbrick, new night presenter, his programme is awful, loads of ranting loons, so back to radio 4 after 6pm till he either learns his job or gets replaced.

I mostly listen at night to help me get to sleep. Music doesn't help me sleep but sometimes radio 4 does. Otherwise it's LBC but I am keen to find how to use audio books because LBC has gone too right wing nutter for me.

Night LBC is dire. Have u downloaded the bbc radio iplayer app? Highly recommend for night. Live radio on all bbc channels or massive selection of drama, audio books, old r4 programmes plus plus. It's absolutely excellent. Try it if u can.

I used to enjoy Petrie Hosken. Even Jeni Barnett was enjoyable to hear albeit less political. Shelagh Fogarty is good but it’s an aggressive couple of hours and incredibly Brexit heavy. I’m getting more in to Podcasts as finding LBC’s decisions to give such air time to Farage and Rees Mogg painful.

Katie Hopkins had a regular slot but was fired. But she was the wrong type of woman, so doesn't count.
