Refreezing breadcrumbs

I’ve defrosted a packet of breadcrumbs (I left them out on the counter from this morning) but have realised I only need to use about half of the packet. Can I refreeze the rest or is that a bad idea?

Sorry, not exactly AIBU but need a quick response! TIA

Perfectly fine to do. I’ve always been told that bread is the only thing it’s ok to freeze more than once
