To assume I didn’t get the interview

Hi
First post so please be gentle!!

I applied for a fantastic job at a local sure start centre. The cut off was the end of yesterday (17th January) with interviews scheduled for Tuesday 22nd.
I have not heard from them today and personally feel Monday would be far to short notice for an interview the next day!!!
My dh says I am being impatient and they wouldn’t be in contact till Monday. I don’t agree!!!
AIBU to assume it wasn’t meant to be or shall I be a phonezilla waiting for a call/email on Monday??
TIA

It’s most likely you haven’t got an interview, but you never know. I was notified of a TA interview the day before.

I would assume they would give you more than a day's notice so yes I don't think you have got an interview.

Its increasingly common not to hear a dickie-bird at all stages of the interview process if you are unsuccessful, but particularly at the applicant stage.

You could phone them to check on Monday if you really want to know for sure but I'd be thinking it's a no at this stage.

If the closing date was only yesterday, and interviews on Tuesday they haven't given themselves much time to screen and contact candidates.
It could be that, due to tight timescales, they will tell people on Monday. Not ideal though!

If the closing date was yesterday, then they will only have shortlisted candidates today. I've found with jobs that have an interview date already arranged, the employers expect the applicants to have cleared that day in case they are selected. For my last job, the closing date was November 26th, the interview was 5th December and I was offered a choice of 4 different time slots for the interview, the day before. Fingers crossed you get an invitation to interview on Monday. Are there likely to be lots of people going for the job?
