Possible move to beccles, advice please

i all, we are looking at moving to beccles or the surrounding area, for hubby's work but I know nothing of the area. I like the coast but will be happy in a nice town inland, we have 2 kids (3 & 7) what are the schools like. If also like to work PT We're going up there (from London) next month any places we should have a look at? TIA Hannah
