To think this wedding dress is a bit... much?

Idly browsing wedding dresses (not planning on getting married anytime soon) and came across this one in Pronovias 2019.

AIBU to think you don't want your actual muff on show on your wedding. I'm no prude but... really?

Anyone else seen some shockers?

20s style dresses are often really pretty. Similar to many of the more boho 70s dresses.

Wedding dress troll? Confused I've been here (under various names) since 2009!

Is the original photo posted from the Pronovias 2019 collection?

PinaColada1 · 19/01/2019 23:24

Love them! They are so funny.

strawberrisc · 19/01/2019 23:28

If I was sat at the front of the audience at a fashion show amongst all the deadly serious and po-faced I’d be chucked out for crying with laughter!

Underconstruction · 20/01/2019 00:00

My fave. Sorry I didn’t get invited to this one.

mystar · 20/01/2019 00:09

Love this!! Imagine walking down the isle with your jack and Danny on show 🙈

Dita73 · 20/01/2019 00:22

I don’t think full on minge is a good look for your wedding day

TheLittleDogLaughed · 20/01/2019 07:33

I once received a wedding invitation which had a photo of the bride and groom totally naked standing side by side. It was supposed to make some kind of statement about their love and honesty but it just made everyone feel really awkward.

IJustLostTheGame · 20/01/2019 08:15

thelittledoglaughed did you send back your RSVP as a naked picture with you doing thumbs up or down?

If you didn't you should have.

TheLittleDogLaughed · 20/01/2019 08:44

IJustLostTheGame I didn’t. I remember everyone talking before the wedding and just praying the couple weren’t going to turn up for the wedding naked - we’d all seen enough already! 😂

BingisaweeArse · 20/01/2019 09:20

Most of these are lingerie.........right?? I don’t understand

CrabbityRabbit · 20/01/2019 09:28

@budgetneeded yes it is.

@TheLittleDogLaughed Shock WHAT? To their grannies and everything? Were they otherwise normal? What was the wedding like?

CrabbityRabbit - the invite went to everyone literally. It was around 2002 so they were in their late 20s. Usually a slightly boring couple so it was a massive shock. There was no, shall we say, attempt to beautify their bodies so full on hairy bits, no make up. It wasn’t a pretty sight really. Certainly didn’t make anyone envy the wedding night 😱

TheLittleDogLaughed · 20/01/2019 10:06

Oh and the wedding was totally normal, quite dull, except for the horrible unease of the guests knowing exactly what was under their clothes.

Meangirls36 · 20/01/2019 15:49

Perhaps if you're a nudist on a deserted tropical island with a blind priest to marry you.

BackBoiler · 20/01/2019 17:11

A lot of these look like old net curtains like my nan used to have!

Ellyess · 20/01/2019 17:53

Oh how horrible! Why bother to dress at all?

Ellyess · 20/01/2019 17:55

It would have made me feel sick! What is wrong with them?

Ellyess · 20/01/2019 18:03

Why don't they wear knickers?

GerdaLovesLiIi · 20/01/2019 18:05

A friend made one of these for a bride, It was constructed over a nude power-netting base, but in the photos it looks exactly as if the bride is wearing nothing underneath. It was a fabulous feat of sewing to make it, but I do wonder why the bride wanted to look nearly naked in front of all her friends and family.
