As someone who has been in so many slimming groups/on numerous diets. I'm saying no. I know, as I'm sure we all do, what foods are nutritious and those that aren't.
I'm annoyed that I've grown up disliking the way I look. Not wanting pictures taken unless it's from the perfect angle.
I just refuse to have a negative body image any longer.
I'm 36, a size 18 and I bloody love my body. Yes, I can be healthier (I'm working on that) but I refuse to avoid mirrors or not looking at the jiggly parts
.
I've had physical issues but this body is the only one I'm going to have.
I've had enough of cosmetic, diet brands, magazines telling me my body is wrong. So I'm KonMari-ing my head and those thoughts are being banished.
So AIBU to saying sod it to all those that tell me that my body type us wrong? I don't think so!
I'm sure someone will pop up saying that my size isn't healthy and I'm already aware of that. I just believe that the be kind to your body, you have to be kind to your mental health.
